- breath in for 4 seconds
- hold your breath for 7 seconds
- exhale breath for 8 seconds
repeat once or twice more.
This causes an autonomic nervous system shift from a sympathetic (fight or flight reaction) state to a parasympathetic response.

Yes, I consider my self from the whole DMV area. This is where I grew up my entire life, AND I am very familiar with all of NOVA, DC and Maryland! Also, I do believe in the “My story” tab, I say that I am from Alexandria Virginia, RIGHT OUTSIDE of DC.

Ahhh, I need to update my story a little anyways. But I do consider myself Southern, Virginia was part of the Confederacy, and my ancestors fought in the Civil War for the Confederacy. (Im not condoning what the confederacy stood for during that time, don’t twist anything around) but my family heritage, is of the southern lifestyle. Not to mention, my father is from Georgia. And, Im born and raised here and know a lot of people who consider themselves southern and they too have lived here their entire lives! Hope that answers your question! Feel free to come off anon! I wont/dont mind!
